- What are you talking about Byron? People *you* know about? There are
- many more then 30 Amiga owners/users in Newfoundland (this is how much
- credibility this guy has) and I am not talking about the Amiga alone, I
- know a lot of people who bought computers in general from the Vic-20 upto
- the Amiga and now PCs through department stores. Stop with your
- narrowminded point of view. And this is the same guy complaining about my
- supposed "lack" of knowledge and experience? Ha!
-

-
- Exactly what is standard about the Internet yet Byron? Using a Netscape
- equipped machine is dominating but it isn't STANDARD yet.. The new market
- for the A1200 in North America is with the online services as a Net
- Surfer which also can play games and do other generic computer work for
- school and home business at a cheap price.
-
- Newcomm in town sells IBM Aprtiva's fully loaded for Net access with 4
- months of free access time for $3100 aprox (this is in Canadian $). Do you
- think the average family or even below average family is going to pay that to
- surf the net and web? THIS is where the Amiga comes in and nothing will be
- able to beat it new.. yet. Standards or no standards, given the choice, I
- know what a lot of people would buy.

-
- You complaing C64s and Amigas in the same stores were only there to be
- dumped at a much lower priced when PCs are doing the same thing and you
- praise them! Just goes to show how hypicritical you are.
-

-
- And on the whole net you have to single me out? If you have a grudge
- with me keep it in e-mail or better yet don't even bother replying. My
- users and myself had enough of you when you were calling my BBS, I don't
- want to read your crap here too.. I've stayed away from it until
- recently, what made you decide to start in again now? I would much
- rather read a longer message then some of the oneline crap from you I got
- complaints about on my BBS and now this here. Stop replying to my
- messages please if this is all you have to offer. I am trying to reply to
- the pertinent points in your post but I refuse to let you degrade me and
- my BBS here or anywhere when it was you involved in all the trouble and
- now causing it here.

-
- That is not for you to judge or decide, I am offering suggestions and
- possible situations for the future of a computer I am involved in and
- will be involved in more. You are not God, there are plenty of more
- people out there who have more experience with what we are talking about
- yet they do not crap on you, perhaps that is because they do not know you
- so stop trying to be more then what you are.
-
- I have no experience in behind the scenes of say Swiss Chalet (since you
- have a fascination with food [apples/oranges] but I know that only here
- in Newfoundland and Quebec they lose money on their chicken sales as we
- buy more ribs in their stores which are not as profitable thus the reason
- they changed their menu to offer more dishes with chicken in it and more
- varieties to balance the sales. How many people do Naval Architecture at
- the Marine Institue here in town and know all about their field but have
- no experience yet doing anything with it really?
-
- >Before I sent it in for repair, which I have mentioned to quite a few people on
- >the net I know thank you, I was doing quite a lot with it.
-
- Such as? No, forget that, that is stopping to your mentality, this has
- nothing to do with anything.
-
- >Sorry if you took the facts to be an insult.
-
- Your misguided facts are not an insult to me.. I much rather read a well
- balanced message that is long then read something short that doesn't
- elaborate on their points at all. Why don't you go pick on someone else
- that posts a lot larger then me? I have skipped a few messages in the
- past 10 I have read that were huge yet you do not see me crapping on
- them, why do you have to make it a big deal? Just because YOU do not
- like reading large messages doesn't mean the rest of the world doesn't.
- I have yet had anyone else replying back my messages were too long and
- everyone else that has replied to my messages and e-mail have been
- nothing but helpful, unlike yourself.
-
- >: P.S. You see Byron doesn't have the patience to do and/or read anything..

- >
- >This kind of reaction is what goes on in his BBS to a large degree, to be fair
- >not all of it comes directly from him. If anyone is reading this I apologise.
-
- Byron you have done no better, stop being a hypocrite and how many of
- these messages have I sent to you, stop the blatent generalizations! I
- have had no trouble on my BBS since you and 1 or two other users left.. I
- had so many complaints about your oneliners when everyone else was used
- to longer messages it wasn't funny. Lower down your ego a bit there and
- be intelligent and stop including unrelated topics that have nothing to
- do with the conversation.. whom are you trying to impress Byron? Or is it
- that you are simply trying to get me sidetracked to make my opinions
- seem less important to make yours seem more? Its time to play in the
- backyard Byron, mommy is calling.

-
- P.S. I am attempting to still reply to your posts in a calm and cool
- manner and only comment on important points and none of this crap above
- but if you feel you really need to have the last word and continue to
- insult, then I will just let you do it..
